Suburban

Recently Davy and Ron Keij met up for a '59 Plymouth "Grand Day Out." See the pix here!

Travis Riverland recently sold his Suburban wagon to Davy. "Travis had his Cadillac for sale (which he bought from me, by the way- yeah, we like to keep these old cars in the 'family' :-). But with the slow market there didn't seem to be anyone really interested in that car. He also drove the Caddy throughout the summer and liked it more and more, so he more or less decided to keep it and started thinking about selling his 'P**** Wagon'. He'd hardly used it because he wanted to put the plates of the Cadillac on the Plymouth once the Caddy sold, so the Plymouth was never registered to his name... so technically the '59 Plymouth Suburban Sport is still a first owner car ;-)

I'll think of a good story to tell about why I got this car (I haven't even been able to justify it to myself yet, as I'm renovating my house and I already have 13 classic cars :-) so I'll keep you posted! In the meantime, Travis has received the 4 new tires he was waiting on and the car also got much-needed maintenance. Runs fine but the body sure needs attention...In the meantime, here are some early pictures, I'll be taking some better ones asap."
