Mike Kotzman (a.k.a. Mopar Mike)
I purchased this car in 1989 here in Germany after it was
imported from the U.S. These are the only reasonable pictures I have right
now in digital format. I took the pictures during a event in 1992. For two
nice days I made a trip from Germany to Switzerland [where the event took
place].
Typical for the '59 Belvy: It has a 318CID engine, Torqueflite
transmission with 2bbl. Carb., power brakes and power steering.
At the moment the Plymouth is under restoration -- I`ve
also attached some pictures from the shop (the restoration started in 10/02).
There was some rust on the rear quarters, but it was rustfree under body.
Many pieces are already restored and completed, like the blower motor shown
in the pictures.
I've owned this Plymouth for 15 years now. Many things have
happened and there are many other stories to tell. And so I will, in good
time...
