I have a 59 Belvedere and am putting
a Viper engine in it. The project got delayed several months because
of other commitments, but now I am going to start on it. I am going
to put a Dana 60 in the car and need to get the rear wheels and tires
before I order the rear end so I get the correct width. I am trying
to find out what the widest tires I can fit without cutting the car.

I have been working on cars as a hobby for the past 35 years and have only done frame off all original show cars. I did a 65 Corvette fuelie, a 69 Chevelle SS, a 68 Charger RT, and a couple of old 356 Porsches. I got sick of the matching numbers game so I decided to build a hot rod that I can actually drive! I want to hook up the air conditioning, install huge disc brakes, and have some fun. |
